When did I start EMS: December 1973. I was in the first EMT Class, when they went from first aid to EMT.

Why do I volunteer: I like to help people so I liked running calls. 

Anything Extra: My parents owned Hills Club and all the volunteers came there to eat. They got me interested in the Rescue Squad. I was one of the first women to join the squad, and the first women Chief of any Rescue Squad in the County. I was able to leave my job and run calls the women is what saved the rescue squads back in the 70's
